The Columbus Blues Alliance Blues Jam |

 The
CBA Blues Jam is held on the first and third*
Sunday afternoon of every month at Flaherty's Thirsty
Ear Tavern, 1200 W. Third Avenue in Grandview (299-4987). Music
starts at 4:30, and musician sign-up begins at 4:00. The jam officially
ends at 8:30, but more often than not, it usually runs a little later.
Feel free to bring the kids, too! The Thirsty
Ear sells tasty food, beer, liquor and soft drinks. There is a
$3 cover charge, where $2 helps pay the host band, and $1 goes directly
to the Columbus Blues Alliance. |

Our
jam participants have ranged from an 8-year old drummer to some of
the top blues players in the area. So don't be afraid to bring your
axe, harp, sax, bass or whatever. Drums and amplifiers are provided
by the host band, and The Thirsty
Ear provides the sound system and additional amps. Come early
