Gear: Parker Fly Deluxe guitar, Fender Stratocaster, 2 Mesa Boogie amps, Vox wah-wah, numerous pedals, and my Magic Noise Box (I can't give all the secrets away)!

Recordings you are on: Sam & Dave Revue, "Spittin' Image" (MCA), National Rock Opera Company's production of "Jesus Christ Superstar," Dick Mackey (various sessions), the Alligators (various sessions), Smokin' Section's "Sweet Petite," DC Papke, Charlie Bleak (numerous sessions), McGuffey Lane's "Call Me Lucky," John Schwab Band's "You Thought I Was Somethin' Special," various others.

Favorite guitarist (living): B.B. King and Bob Ochsendorf.

Favorite guitarist (deceased): Albert King, Jimi Hendrix

Favorite singer (living): There are so many great ones! Among my favorites are: Sam Moore, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, all four of the great performers in Vocal Impact (Roz Booker, Errica Rivera, Jay Wright and Ron Jenkins!) and Charlie Bleak, to name a few.

Favorite singer (deceased): John Lennon, Otis Redding, the list goes on!

First record you bought: Highway 61 Revisited," Bob Dylan, if I remember correctly.

First Blues record you bought: B.B. King, "Live at the Regal"

Music career focus: To leave my audience a little bit happier than they were before the show -- I know the band and I will have a good time!

Personal Statement:

Jim Lynch: "I feel blessed that I have had the opportunity to make music for over 34 years, that I show no signs of slowing down, and that I've made a lot of friends along the way. I encourage anyone with talent, desire, and dedication to do the same."
