Past Bands: Back in my St. Louis days: The Ravens (really), Canfield, TJ and the Illusions, all were rock bands long before I had enough sense to appreciate the blues.

Gear: Gibson ES-335 1959 BLONDE (not natural) historic re-issue, Gibson 1997 Les Paul Standard, 1997 Fender “Roadhouse” Stratocaster, 1994 Gibson Les Paul DC Centennial, 1998 Dan Electro U200. (I'm kind of a collector) All played thru a Peavey Delta Blues amplifier with an occasional stomp on my Tube Screamer.

Music career focus: Simply to learn and "borrow" as much as I can from whomever I can. With all the talented players in Columbus , that alone is just about a full-time job. I don't for a minute consider myself a "professional musician" when surrounded by all the talented folks who really CAN play, but to me it's more like a serious hobby that deserves my best effort. Getting people up to dance, having a good time, and the occasional applause makes it worthwhile.

And thanks to some prodding from my wife and kids, my friends, and the blues jams, I picked up the guitar again after many years of not playing, and I realized just how much I missed it.
